Kokosend supports five currencies in a single wallet, with transfers between our covered markets. The full, current list of countries and currencies is shown in the app when you start a transfer.

Download the app, sign up with your phone number or email, and complete a short identity check. Most accounts are ready to send within a few minutes.

The app is available around the clock. Transfers to bank accounts may settle on the receiving bank’s schedule, which can vary on weekends and public holidays.

Choose the amount and destination currency, confirm the rate you are shown, pick how your recipient should be paid, and send. You will see the exact amount they receive before you confirm.

Transfers between Kokosend wallets arrive instantly. Payouts to bank accounts and mobile money wallets depend on the receiving provider and typically settle the same day.

You can send to bank accounts and to mobile money wallets in our supported markets. Available payout methods are shown once you select a destination.

Sending money to another Kokosend user is free. There is no transfer fee, and the recipient gets the full amount.

Rates are based on live market pricing and are refreshed continuously. The rate you see at the moment you confirm is the rate applied to your transfer — there is no separate markup added afterwards.

Transfers above ₦1,000,000 qualify for merchant pricing, which improves the rate on larger volumes. Merchant rates are applied automatically once your transaction crosses the threshold.

Fund your wallet by bank transfer, card, or mobile money, depending on what is available in your country. Deposits usually reflect within minutes.

Withdraw to any bank account or mobile money wallet you have added. You can also hold a balance in any of the supported currencies and withdraw later.
